THE 3-STEPHANDS

Welcome to the 3-STEP.

The 3-STEP is the first of the TriBreath breathing rhythms and is the most powerful on the physical level.

Meaning if you’ve got a hill, mountain or stairs to get up, the 3-STEP will get you up there without any of the associated huffing or puffing.

But like all of the TriBreath movements and all of the TriBreath breathing rhythms, it’s all about skeletal alignment and skeletal structure.

So the first thing you have to recognise is as the body ages, so too does your skeleton contract and collapse.

To the best of my knowledge, this collapse occurs within all aspects of physical matter be it the mineral kingdom, the vegetable kingdom, the animal kingdom or us humans.

Yet even though this collapse appears inevitable, i believe there are actions you can implement to dramatically slow this process down.

And the first way of doing that is with the technique i call the Thumbs technique.

The Thumbs technique is all about repositioning your skeletal alignment to factory default settings and the technique is really simple.

As you breathe in and bend your knees.

As you breathe out you lift your shoulders Up, Back and Down and point your Thumbs in the direction you’re going.

Once you have your body in the best starting position, let’s get into the 3-STEP using your hands to synchronise your body’s movement up to your breath.

Start softly and proceed with no rush to get anywhere. As with all the Tribreath movements, we embrace feeling first… then work in the tenth’s of millimetres to expand outwardly on the physical level.
