Understanding the Little Breath Technique Using the 3-STEP
The Little Breath Technique is all about filling and lifting your body up, from the bottom up!
As we’re using the 3-STEP, we’ll be using 2 IN-breaths and 1 OUT-breath.
The “Little Breath” Inhale
Using the Little Breath Technique, your 1st IN-breath is a little breath.
Don’t fill your lungs all the way… Just a little bit of air.
This starts the process and helps your body get ready for more.
The “Bigger Breath” Inhale
Your 2nd IN-breath is your biggest breath IN using the 3-STEP.
As you fill up your lungs completely, draw your breath right up to the base of your skull.
Focus on expanding your lungs and getting more air in.
The “Squeeze Out” Exhale
On the 3rd breath of your 3-STEP breathing cycle, your OUT-breath, powerfully exhale in one breath.
It’s like you push all the air out by squeezing your belly in.
Get every last bit of air out of your lungs.
This makes room for your following IN-breath and the inhalation of fresh oxygen.
